On December 15 and 16, the M24 meeting of the FFLECS Project took place in Naples, hosted at the premises of the University of Naples “Federico II”.

On 3 September, the 1st Review Meeting of the FFLECS Project took place in Brussels, hosted at the premises of TOUR4EU – Tuscan Organisation of Universities and Research for Europe. Our Project Manager, Dr Georgios Bampanis,from the European Commission, joined the Consortium in a lively and constructive discussion. We are pleased to report a successful review and proud of the steady progress we are making toward completing our planned activities and achieving the project’s ambitious goals.

On June, 25 & 26, 2025, the M19 meeting of the FFLECS Project took place in Zurich (Switzerland), hosted at the premises of ETH.

On January 16 and 17, the M13 meeting of the FFLECS Project took place in London, hosted at the premises of Imperial College.The meeting highlighted important progress in the various tasks of the project, with obvious advances in the development of the two hydrogen-SAF combustor concepts selected (CHAIRLIFT – Compact Helical Arranged combustoRs with lean LIFTed flames and LEAFINNOX – Lean Azimuthal Flame), thanks to dedicated CFD and experimental investigations. Also relevant are the ongoing supporting studies related to numerical and experimental characterization of particulate emissions and the use of electrical and electromagnetic fields to control flame stability and fuel atomization.

On 6 September 2024, the M9 meeting of the FFLECS Project took place in Lecce (Italy), hosted at the premises of Università del Salento.

The Kick-off Meeting of the FFLECS project will be held in Florence and as virtual event on December 19^th 2023
